{ DEMENTIA }
Understanding the person behind the diagnosis
Dementia affects everyone differently.
Someone's memory, communication, confidence and everyday routines may change, but their personality, relationships, preferences and the things that matter to them remain an important part of who they are.
Fond provides compassionate dementia care centred on the individual rather than simply their diagnosis.
Familiarity, reassurance and care that adapts
Support may begin with companionship, reassurance, or help with maintaining familiar routines, and gradually change as someone's needs develop.
Our team takes time to get to know the individual — how they prefer things to be done, what makes them comfortable, what they enjoy, and what may cause anxiety or confusion.
We also recognise the impact dementia can have on the wider family and work closely with those involved in someone's care.
How We Care
{ ABOUT FOND HEALTHCARE }
Care built around you
We are a compassionate, dedicated team who see the person, not just the care they need. We support people through changing circumstances with warmth, humour, professional expertise and genuine compassion.
At Fond, every care journey begins with the individual - their wishes, routines, relationships, health and the way they want to live. As needs change, we bring together everyday care with professional clinical and nursing support at home, working alongside families, GPs, district nurses and other healthcare professionals so nothing important is overlooked.
"We help people remain in the homes they love, surrounded by the people and routines that matter most."
