Where Fond's services are appropriate, support is centred around the individual and what they want from everyday life.
That may include help with personal routines, developing or maintaining independence, accessing the community, social activities or other aspects of everyday living.
Choice, confidence and involvement
Good support should involve the individual in decisions about their own life wherever possible.
We take the time to understand how someone communicates, what is important to them, and where support can help them feel safe, confident, and involved.
When other professionals are involved, we can work alongside them and the individual's family or wider support network as part of a coordinated approach.
